Allison, Administrator
After graduating from the SAIT Dental Assisting program, I started my dental career in 2014. I have many years of experience in Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, and General practice. I made the switch to Dental Administration in 2019. I was pleased to join the team at Downtown Dental in January 2023. I look forward to building a relationship with the patients and other team.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, Harley. We are currently expecting our first child, so I will be a missing face in the clinic while I am on maternity leave.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, skiing, snowshoeing, reading and entertaining.

I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years. I love what I do and enjoy being a part of a professional team that provides exceptional dental care. One of the things i enjoy most about dentistry is seeing how changing a patient’s smile can transform their lives.
In my spare time I enjoy exercise, reading, travel and entertaining. I have two amazing children, Samantha and Liam, who brighten my every day.

I was born and raised in Calgary and really love the city. I have been with downtown dental for 33 years — part of a team of dental assistants who ensure that our patients get the best possible experience. I really enjoy getting to know our patients, and after this many years I feel fortunate to have met some very wonderful people. Outside of work, I have been a volunteer with the Calgary stampede for 18 years. I proudly served on my condo board for 11 years, working to make the building a beautiful place to live. Also, I enjoy a variety of handcrafts, gardening, cooking and entertaining and have summered at Mara lake, Sicamous B.C. for over three decades.

When I am not working, I enjoy travel, golf, and spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren.

I am originally from former Czechoslovakia and lived in Vancouver, BC for 29 years prior to moving to Calgary, AB in 2019. My dental career began in dental assisting which then prompted me to pursue a carrier in dental hygiene, which I am passionate about. I successfully completed my dental hygiene education with a Bachelor’s degree at UBC followed by an MPH at the University of Victoria.
I take pride in providing the best care possible by actively listening to my clients and working closely with them. My goal is to ensure a positive dental hygiene experience and providing my clients with information on how to improve and maintain their oral health. In 20+ years of working in the dental profession, Downtown Dental has proven to meet high levels of care for their clients which makes me excited to be part of the team.
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, photography, and exploring new places in Canada and overseas with my best travel companion, my daughter Jessica.

Hi my name is Zoe. I’ve been working within the dental community for nineteen years and counting. I started my career as a Registered Dental Assistant in which I worked for eight wonderful years. However, eventually, I wanted to expand my scope of practice and skill set which encouraged me to go back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have now been assisting patients to achieve optimal oral health through evidence based dentistry eight plus years and I can truly say I have a passion for dentistry. Being in the dental field means being a lifelong student, I enjoy continuing education and am always trying to heighten my skills and expand my knowledge base. My life isn’t all books and learning, though. Although I am an avid reader of mostly fictional thrillers, I also love travelling and spending time with my young son and family. We travelled the world together before our son’s birth and would love to continue that trend as he grows.
